Tanya Yeremenko is a senior Transaction Services and M&A professional with more than 20 years of experience across banking, Deal Advisory and Transaction Advisory. Her career spans Ukraine and the UK, giving her first-hand experience of building a senior career in financial services and successfully re-establishing herself professionally after relocating to a new market.
About Tanya Yeremenko
She began her career in 2003 as an economist in international payments at a Ukrainian bank, progressing within two years to lead the capital markets division and coordinate a $150 million Eurobond issue. In 2008 she moved into KPMG Deal Advisory, transitioning from the banking side of transactions into professional advisory. After relocating to London, she faced another significant transition — entering the UK market without previous UK experience and having to prove herself professionally again; since then she has worked at KPMG UK and mid-market UK advisory firms, including establishing a Transaction Advisory Services practice and hiring and coaching its team.
She currently works at Assistant Director level in Transaction Services, specialising in SPA and M&A, with experience across more than 100 transactions spanning financial due diligence, completion accounts, valuations, restructuring, forensic investigations and IPOs, across sectors including telecoms and media, hospitality, property, manufacturing and not-for-profit organisations.
